An inspiring leader

Professor Ian Bruce – Director of the Cass CCE
Ian Bruce leads Cass CCE. His particular interest is strategic planning and marketing for charities. He is Vice President of the Royal National Institute of the Blind and was previously chief executive of two national charities. Ian is also a Chief Officer in local government and a manager in the private sector.

The support team

Mary Harris
Mary manages Cass CCE and has worked with Ian Bruce since the early days of Volprof. She handles finances, administration for all our short courses, events and consultancy projects. Mary previously worked in the University’s journalism department.

Barbara Robertson
Barbara is the co-ordinator for Cass CCE. She handles administration for short courses, events and consultancy projects as well as producing the centre newsletter and updating the website.

Ute Spittler
Ute is the programmes co-ordinator for the postgraduate MSc programmes, and handles all aspects of admissions and course administration. If you would like to contact Ute, please refer to the MSc course pages on Cass's central website.
